| DRG STUDENTS VISIT LEGENDS GOLF AND SAFARI RESORT |

On Tuesday 21 October 2008 the students had an early start to their day. They all left from Pretoria Golf Club to go and see what Mr. David Riddle have been up to at Legends Golf and Safari Resort. They had a chance to see for themselves the world’s longest par three, the Extreme 19th Hole. With a green shaped like Africa and a view over the Waterberg Mountains it is an amazing site. The students also got to see some of the holes designed by some of the world’s greatest players, Trevor Immelman, Retief Goosen, Justin Rose, Luke Donald, Michael Campbell and thirteen other players. Then there was the par three course which is still being build, featuring some of the worlds best par threes.
After their visit to Legends the students went to go play the new Euphoria Golf Club, it is an Anneke Sorrenstam signature course. The course was in good condition but the students struggled a bit. The best score for the day was from David who played level par. Again Johan Potgieter (Pottie) showed why he likes to travel, and play new courses, he played a good round of 75 beating some of the more experienced Riddle Staff. After an, nice day out everybody had a great time. Thank you to all involved making this day so enjoyable.

| Students play at SUN CITY |

The David Riddle Golf Academy students had the opportunity on Wednesday 30 July 2008 to play one of the best courses in South Africa, the Gary Player Country Club at Sun City. The course was in great condition and the greens were playing very tricky. Johan Potgieter played the best of the students, after fifteen holes he was still only one over par, but unfortunately let a couple of shot go towards the end, he still manage to finish with a respected score of five over par. Jaco Ahlers a former student in David Riddle Golf Academy but now playing on the Sunshine Tour also played along and he shot an excellent round of one under par. David is playing in the upcoming Klipdrift Pro-Am which will take place at Gary Player Country Club in the first week of August. From the Riddle team we hope you do well… and we look forward to the students next outing. |

| Congratualations Madeleine Kleinhause |

On Wednesday 23 July 2008, Madeleine a student in David Riddle Golf Academy acheived something many golfers dream of. Playing in the Wednesday Club competition at Pretoria Golf Club she hit her first Hole In One. It was at the sixth hole, a 111 meter Par 3 where she took her pitching wedge and hit the perfect shot.
Madeleine was also selected for the Gauteng North Inter Provincial team. They will be competing at Umhlali Country Club Kwazulu-Natal from 13-21 September 2008.

Riddle design under the guidance of founder David Riddle and with the help of the entire team continues to rock the South African golf design industry with innovative ideas. Through the willingness of our current client Legend and IFA developements to allow us the freedom to test the boundries of design we continue to supprise the industry. First we gave the world the first Extreme golfing experience with the design of the Extreme 19, a stand alone golfing experience that is taking the world by storm. Now for our next project for the Legend Golf and Safari Resort we unveiled what according to Dr Greg Rose, founder of the Titleist Performance Institute, is one of the best practice facilities in the world. Combining the practice facility with a tribute course of 10 of the most recognizable and best par 3 golf holes in the world.
Some of the top golfers in the world have already visited the Extreme 19 including South Africas only Grand Slam winner Mr Gary Player.

CONGRATULATIONS to Peter Morkel who one the Senior Division of the Champion of Champions! Peter qualified to play in the event by winning the Senior Club Championships at Services GC. Peter then played the Champion of Champions at Bronkhorstspruit on Sunday 25 May 2008. He shot a 36 on the back nine after shooting a 39 on the front nine to win on a count out from two other players. We are proud of you for keeping our Club name high! |

Congratualations to David, who completed the TPI Certified Golf Fitness Instructor program. This course enables David to identify and overcome any physical restrictions that may limit the students potential. Subjects covered features the latest in golf specific health and fitness, from phisical screening techniques, to golf swing biomechanics,to exercise prescriptions, to the most recent research and development in the field of golf swing analysis. David Riddle Golf Academy students will now be able to train more efectively and in the end acheive better results. Also available now at David Riddle Golf is the new V1 video analysis system, which will help you to have a close look at your swing,and with the help of a PGA Professional correct those mistakes not always visible with the naked eye.

| Academy student wins C-Division in Club Champs |

Well done to JP Kleinhans first year student in David Riddle Golf Academy who won the C-Division at PGC Club Championships. It was his first event as an amateur and he played some good golf to take the title. Good luck for future tournaments and keep it up. | PGC Club Championships 2008 |

Finally we have a winner. Due to the weather the final 2 rounds of the club champs was posponed by almost five weeks. On Sunday 20 April 2008 a field of 75 players who qualified for the final round teed it up at Pretoria Golf Club. With scattered clouds and the wind blowing players knew they were in for a hard day at the office. The B and C division were very close and a couple of players were in for a chance to win their division. But in the end Mr L. Botha won the B-Division and Mr. JP Kleinhans won the C-Division. The A-Division was dominated mainly by one player, Mr. C. Stanley who had a 3 shot lead going into the second round but then extended this lead with an excellent 67 in the morning round. By then the other players had too much catching up to do and Mr. C. Stanley was Club Champion for 2008. Congratualations to all the winners, results will be posted on the calender section of our web site. A special thanks to David Riddle Golf and Nike Golf who sponsored the prizes. |

| David Riddle/Best med tour players starts well in 2008 |

The 2008 Sunshine Tour season has just started for the David Riddle/Bestmed tour players and already things are looking very promising.
In the first 3 tournaments of the year, Jaco Ahlers and Willie v.d. Merwe have already shown that they have what it takes to make it big on the tour in 2008!
What a dream start to the season it was for Willie and Jaco at the Johannesburg Open pre-qualifying round. Willie v.d Merwe shot a 68, 4 under par round to win the tournament by one shot over no one other than Jaco Ahlers. With this qualifying they both received spots in the 2nd biggest tournament of the Sunshine Tour calendar year with a total purse of 1.1 mil Euros.
They didn’t have to wait very long for the next oppor$tunity to make an impression on the tour. The following week the Dimension Data ProAm was hosted by the Lost City and Gary Player Country Clubs. This was yet again a dream start for Jaco as he shot a round of 67 on the Lost City course, placing him in 4th position at the close of the first day. Jaco followed this up with rounds of 79, 70, and 71 with a final placing of 16th at the end of the tournament.
After the Dimension Data ProAm they were straight back on the road heading for the Africa Open, played at the Fish River Country Club. Jaco yet again had a wonderful start to the tournament with a 5 under par 67; this placed him in 3rd place at the end of round one. On the other hand Willie v.d Merwe struggled to keep it together in the windy conditions and played a round of 75, 9 shots behind the leaders after day 1. Willie showed great determination however and came back with a 66, the best round of Day 2, to put himself right back in contention.
At the end of the tournament Jaco finished on 2 over par, which placed him in the 29th position and Willie finished on 6 over par putting him in a tie for 48th.
Without any breaks from the game, the players were back in Pretoria the following week for the Vodacom Classic. This was played on Pretoria Country Club a course that is known for it’s difficult pot bunkers. In the first round this challenges didn’t seem to bother Jaco at all when he went round in 68, 4 better than par. Willie on the other hand found it a bit more difficult with an opening round of 73 1 over par, but had a good round of 71 on the second day to secure his place in the field for the weekend.
The weekend could have been better for the players but like true professional sportsmen they hung in there for yet another top 50 finish for Jaco and a top 60 finish for Willie.
Next up was the Telkom PGA, played on Country club Johannesburg in Woodmead. This is one of the biggest tournaments on the tour and is eagerly anticipated by every professional golfer in South Africa. Jaco yet again had a wonderful start to the tournament with a round of 2 under par , but Willie also came to the party in the first round with a score of 3 under par. Over the weekend they kept up with their good form and Jaco finished in the 27th position with rounds of 70,69,72 and 73, a tournament score of 4 under par and Willie came in 33rd with scores of 69,73,70 and 73, a tournament score of 3 under par.
We look forward to seeing what these players have in store for us in the up and coming events. Next on the calendar is the Mount Edgecome Trophy that will be played from the 28th of February - 2nd of March at Mount Edgecome Country Club.

| David Riddle Golf Academy student performs at GNGU U/23 |

Sunday the 23rd of February the GNGU held their annual U/23 closed championships at Pretoria Golf club, with all the best under 23 players in the Gauteng region competing Muller De Wet a current student of the David Riddle Golf Academy showed that he is definitely a young talent ready to burst onto the scene.
With scores of 76 and 73 Muller finished the day at 5 over par, that placed him in 6th position for the tournament.
We look forward to see what this young talent can produce in the upcoming events.

| World’s most extreme golf hole – world’s most exceptional design |

David Riddle Design unveils the world’s most extreme golf hole, the Extreme 19, at the launch of the Legend Golf and Safari Resort on the 24th November 2007.
This Par 3 golf hole measures 560m from tee to green, making it the world’s longest Par 3, and is played from a vertical height of 360m. Set high up on the impressive Hanglip Mountain on the Legend Golf and Safari Resort in the Entabeni Big 5 Conservancy, the hole is accessible only by helicopter. Golfers are invited to tee of from the sheer edge of the mountain to the additional 19th hole located at the bottom of the cliff.
The Extreme 19th is designed as a true golf hole, playable from the tee to green, this can be played and completed by golfers of all levels. The fairway is seeded with cynoden grass and contoured to funnel the ball down to the waiting green. The green itself is bent grass and is also truly exceptional, being shaped as a map of Africa, in the celebration of the African Renaissance and is between 1800 and 2000 square meters.
Conceived by Graham Cooke, embraced by Peet Cilliers and Designed by David Riddle, the Extreme 19 is truly unique and will most definitely be an unforgettable experience.
